Mike Smith

 

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Smith is responsible for the day-to-day accounting, budgeting and reporting functions of Miller Real Estate Investments and plays a supporting role in the structuring and negotiating of financing arrangements. Prior to joining Miller Real Estate Investments, Mr. Smith served as Vice President, Finance for a manufacturing firm where he was responsible for the overall accounting operations and played a role in the fund raising efforts for the company. He also spent eight years with a local investment banking firm involved primarily with sell side transactions.

 

Mr. Smith began his professional career as an auditor with McGladrey & Pullen, a regional public accounting firm. Mr. Smith received his B.S. degree in Business Administration from Colorado State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
