Steven A. Shoflick
Principal
Steve Shoflick is a Principal with MREI where he is responsible for directing the company’s strategic, investment and operational activities.
Prior to co-founding MREI, he served a similar role as President and COO of Miller Weingarten Realty (MWR), a 50/50 joint venture between Miller and Weingarten Realty Investors, Inc., a REIT traded on the NYSE (WRI). During his tenure at MWR, he oversaw the investment and management of over $480 million in more than 5 million square feet of commercial real estate assets with such anchors as King Soopers, Safeway, Whole Foods, Target and Walmart.
Prior to joining Miller Weingarten, Mr. Shoflick was a principal of Black Creek Capital, a real estate investment group based in Colorado. Before joining Black Creek, Mr. Shoflick held a variety of key management positions for PepsiCo, where he worked directly with the CEO and CFO. Prior to joining PepsiCo, Mr. Shoflick co-founded the Midwest Mergers & Acquisitions office of BT Securities (now Deutsche Bank).
Mr. Shoflick received a Bachelor's degree in Finance, with distinction, from the University of Michigan, and earned a Masters in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.
